Thank you for your interest in becoming a member.

First Responder Veterans, Australia is a fraternal organisation that aims to bring together all members of the police and Emergency Services (paid and volunteer) community to recognise the professionals that they are and the sacrifices they make for the Australian community.

We are not a charity, we are not a union, we are a fraternal organisation that was established for you with no agenda other than to provide a safe friendly and supportive environment for all of the Police and Emergency services community. Paid, volunteer, former, retired or still serving.

Membership is free and always will be.  Being a member means you not only belong to a national fraternity but gives you access to special events, programs, discounted or free training, and assistance if you feel a need to reach out and we are adding more and more resources every day.  We are growing and evolving every day at an incredible pace.

The only requirement to becoming a member is to have been a First Responder or still serving as a First Responder and that includes volunteers. Please note that our criteria for membership are derived from the following definition;

‘A First Responder refers to professionals such as paramedics, firefighters and emergency personnel who are trained to provide rescue or other emergency services in case of emergencies like a fire, explosion, building collapse, earthquake or sudden health effects. The role of a First Responder is to protect life and property and minimize environmental impact’ Safeopedia.
First Responder Veterans Australia is not a crisis service or mental health provider.
