Dave is one of the saints amongst all,of us sinners, lol. This site is a huge asset to the first responder community. I have not had to make use of the various services but enjoy reading the posts which shows a strong sense of community.

FRVA is my 'tribe'.
I am fortunate in that I don't have the issues that others now live with. While I'm not active in the group, you are family, like minded - people who serve or have served humanity. You are here if ever I need support.
Should any one in FRVA wish to chat "volunteer first responder or agricultural/rural", then I'm here.

Thanks guys. Really appreciate what you are doing. With an ongoing 35 years in VICSES & 18 in AV, it's nice to see a group that is looking out for the volunteers

For once someone has set something up to help us and wants nothing back. I may not participate very much because of injuries received on the job but I like having a place to go and the resources available; are testimony to the founder's hard work.

I believe it's important to keep the candle lit.... what i mean is.... we are a family and what emergency services do is not an easy task. We need to stay together and support each other and this site enables us to do that. The world is changing fast and i can see walls being built. Help keep the bond between us and support Dave and volunteers keep that candle alive.

I think this is a great forum to share ideas and just talk to like minded people. Often people who don't work in the emergency services field don't understand what goes on and that certain jobs, both good and bad stay with you forever.
Love this forum and keep up the excellent work.

It is individual efforts such as that by the founder of this site that has rekindled my faith in human nature. After 30 years of service in VicPoll the lack of care and that was dealt my way when I fell over with PTSD was numbing to say the least. I know they may have made some changes to their management of such issues but nothing equates to the type of service given freely and with compassion by this outfit. Well done.

The one thing that I have come away from being a member is that it is ok not to be ok. I am a 15 year veteran of the Police, and to have other first responders to talk to when I am not feeling the best and knowing that I am not alone has been tremendous. It is a tight knit community and this organisation has made it even closer by allowiong members to talk to each other and to learn how to take care of our mental and pohysical health plus the importance of taking care of each other makes me proud to be a member - thank you

It's very rare to find people that genuinely understand. I'm new here but automatically feel at home. Thank you for everything.

Brilliant site, informative and well managed.
Site like this has been needed for years.
I am sure it will be a benefit to one and all.
Certainly should save a lot from staggering around in the dark, like many of us early victims have had to do
Thanks / respect to Dave and everyone involved.
